From cocktails to coffee and comfort food at Rum Barrel
Do you know that feeling? That sometimes you want to live in the neighbourhood of a certain street because there is SO MUCH happening there? The Javastraat in Amsterdam Oost is one of those streets for me. Recently, here opened the Caribbean bar Rum Barrel. But who only thinks about cocktails when they hear the name Rum Barrel is wrong. This spot has so much more to offer. All the best from the Caribbean underneath one roof.

From chocolate to coffee (how nice will that taste with rum this upcoming winter) from cocktails to comfort food (PLEASE, people from Rum Barrel if you read this… please serve Jerk Chicken!) to cigars. Obviously I’m super excited to see the interior of Rum Barrel Amsterdam.. But the idea of this place to be the new spot with a tropical touch this upcoming autumn and winter really makes me happy!
