Ruigoord Amsterdam: the freeminded creative commune

My love and I like to watch documentaries. Last spring we watched the Holland Doc docu about Ruigoord Amsterdam. Cool to learn more about this creative hub in Amsterdam where people of all ages live together for more than 40 years to breed creativity. A few times a year the fence of this former industrial area opens up for the public and everyone is welcome to enjoy the cultural parties. This year I’m going to the summer festival at Ruigoord Amsterdam, called Landjuweel, for the first time. Landjuweel celebrates it’s 25th bday! From 25-29 of July Ruigoord celebrates music, art and theater with acts and visitors from countries worldwide.
