At Yourlbb we love the small alleys of the Jordaan. And especially when we discover new hotspots like Robins Hood! A concept store in the Tweede Tuindwarsstraat where they only sell urban items with a story. Authentic and artisanal products that are fair trade.
When you look around at Robins Hood you see one great piece after the next. What makes the shop extra special is that they also sell unique items that only have one piece. Like the leather pieces of the Amsterdam brand Monsak (that we have been big fans of for years), the vintage furniture and the vintage seventies vases in cheerful colours. Robins Hood also has its own webshop, but for these exclusive products you really have to run by the store.
Robins Hood also sells scarves of their own brand. Made ofmodal kasjmier blend and oh so soft, perfect for in the airplane during the long flights I make when it’s a bit cold because of the airconditioning.
What I like a lot about Robins Hood is that they sell a lot of brands that are from Amsterdam. A candy store for well made scarves and leather bags. That’s the way you could describe it. Another thing you want to take home immediately: the special lamp by Jan & John: designed and made in the Jordaan. Just like the pillow cases by Bos & Co. With original Norwegian prints and made on a vintage knitting machine.
What else can you find at Robins Hood? Beautiful jewelry by Dutch Basics, notebooks to write everything down you don’t ever want to forget and organic scent candles by the Canadian brand Lucia, that are only sold at Robins Hood in Amsterdam.
In short: a nice shop where you can buy beautiful and sustainable products for yourself, or as a present.
