Now that's a vacation! Nice Are there a few restaurants that should definitely be on your go-to list? How about a unique clifftop restaurant, an authentic wine bar, or a small but charming 60-year-old restaurant serving traditional homemade Niçoise specialties? Check out our favorite restaurants in Nice and enjoy!
Tip: looking for tasty breakfast and lunch spots in NiceWe've collected those for you too!
The Two Canailles: An affordable gastronomic restaurant serving typical French dishes with a Japanese twist. Wow, that's quite a mouthful, and it sounds incredibly good too. What can you order here? Think foie gras, fresh market vegetables, Mediterranean calamari, and blue lobster. Starting at €50, you can get a three-course menu—perfect for date night!
6 Rue Chauvain, 06000 Nice – lesdeuxcanailles.com
The Plongeoir: Le Plongeoir is a restaurant built on an old diving tower near the harbor. This means you dine under the stars, some 4 to 6 meters above sea level, overlooking the ocean. Prices are slightly above average, but hey, you get a truly romantic evening in return.

John: It might sound like you can order a croquette and fries with mayo at Jan's, but nothing could be further from the truth. You go to Jan for a portion of fine dining and unique dishes. Just be aware that reservations are essential. BTW: Jan is South African!
12 Rue Lascaris, 06300 Nice – restaurantjan.com
La Rossettisserie: Fancy a roast chicken with potatoes and fresh vegetables? Come to the hidden gem La Rossettisserie. Take a seat at one of the long tables and immerse yourself in the French atmosphere.
8 Rue Mascoinat, 06300 Nice – larossettisserie.com/fr/
The Clef d'Or: La Clef d'Or is a restaurant, café, and wine bar all rolled into one—just what we love. At this restaurant, you can expect a wide selection of French classics, and you can, of course, finish your dinner with a cheese board and a good glass of wine.
2 Rue Chauvain, 06000 Nice – facebook.com/laclefdornice
Cafe du Turin: Okay, a bit touristy, but definitely worth stopping by for lunch or dinner. Café du Turin is all about seafood, so you've come to the right place for oysters, lobster, and shrimp. P.S.: You also have a beautiful view of Place Garibaldi from here.
5 Place Garibaldi, 06300 Nice – cafedeturin.fr
Olive et Artichaut: A tiny restaurant that's always packed, so reservations are essential. Our recommendation? The chef's specialty: the beef steak. They also have a tiny open kitchen, so you can peek while you wait to see if they're already cooking your steak ;-)
6 Rue Sainte-Reparate, 06300 Nice – oliveartichaut.com
