From fine dining to eateries: check these Restaurants in de Baarsjes

– Fa. Speijkervet: good food for a friendly price. Fa. Speijkervet is one of our personal favourites. They serve dishes with a classic touch and a fantastic taste as well.
– Ivo’s Kitchen: at this restaurant they create star meals. With fresh, sustainable and seasonal products. Wanna sin but gluten free? Order the gluten free cake for dessert!
– Bar Spek: an all day hotspot serving Italian cuisine. And the perfect place to share a pizza with your love. Or share some oysters. Or a delicious ravioli with beetroot, goat cheese and pistachio. And do not forget to order the scroppino as a dessert!
– Restaurant DS: the ‘new Trouw’ (De School) opened in Amsterdam and includes a nice restaurant! At Restaurant DS they serve a changing menu with a choice of three, five or seven courses. And good to know: vegetables play a central role in the menu.
– Radijs: for simple, tasty dishes you have to go to Radijs. A cozy neighbourhood cafe with a terrace. On the menu you’ll find various fish (catch of the day), meat (which include rib eye and goose breast) and vegetarian (for example moussaka) dishes.
– MOOK Pancakes: dinner with pancakes? We don’t say no to that! At new hotspot MOOK they serve organic pancakes. Let the combination of ingredients surprise you!
– Bar Baarsch: Bar Baarsch is a cozy cafe on the Jan Eef. A relaxed spot where you go to during the week or in the weekend for breakfast, lunch, dinner or a drink. At Yourlbb we are a big fan of their changing veggie ravioli dish, although the meat and fish dishes made on the charcoal grill are also great!
– Frits: at Frits it’s all about burgers (and not just any burger) and our favourite beers from local breweries.
– Cafe Zurich: you can find this round cafe in the middle of Mercatorplein. In summertime you just sit outside at the sunny terrace and in wintertime you can sit comfy at the fireplace. As an appetizer we recommend the scallops or steak tartare (yum!). Furthermore you have a choice of different fish and meat dishes, risotto, ravioli or a salad.
– Faam: do you feel like an Italian cuisine night? At Faam they have delicious pizzas, pastas and tiramisu on the menu.
– Edel: we all know about the Edelwise party’s, right? But did you know that you can also go to Edel for a drink with friends, lunch or something to eat?
– Cafe Cook: this is what we call a hidden gem! Cafe Cook probably has the biggest terrace in De Baarsjes! But when the sun is not shining, you are still welcome for a nice meal.
