Christmas is coming! Did you make plans for your Christmas in Amsterdam yet? Or maybe you don’t feel like working in the kitchen the whole day to prepare a Christmas meal? We got the solution… Go out for dinner with friends or family in Amsterdam! Spoil yourself with a 3, 4 or even 5 course dinner, without being the one that has to prepare it all. But where to go? Not every restaurant is open so we selected the 32 x restaurants that are open during Christmas in Amsterdam!

Jansz: At restaurant Jansz you can go this year for a menu with beef tartar & crab with seaweed and cauliflower, cod with celeriac and watercress, venison with morels and Ras El Hanout and a Bûche de Noël. This 4-course menu can also be ordered without being wild or completely vegan ;-)

Restaurant Zuid: Restaurant Zuid is open on all days this Christmas from 6 PM. They offer a special 5-course menu and there are possibilities for a special wine pairing for the enthusiast! Here you go for that homely cozy Christmas atmosphere.

NELIS: On First and Second Christmas Day you can have a Christmas menu at NELIS including choice of Moroccan tuna or stew in puff pastry to start and as a main course you can choose from venison steak, cod, bavette steak or a herb risotto. Yum!

Café de Klepel: Here you can enjoy a 4-course menu for €45,- on Christmas Eve or Second Christmas Day from 6 PM, including dessert with cheese as an extra option.

Jacobsz: Only on Christmas Eve (so be quick!) you can go to Jacobsz for an extensive Christmas dinner. In the monumental building Rechthuis de Herberg, on the Middenweg, everything will be ready for a special Christmas Eve.

Spingaren: On December 24, 25 and 26 you can go to Spingaren from 6 PM to a 4, 5 or 6 course dinner. In the afternoon of December 25 there is a special children’s matinee, including a magician ;-)

MOER: At MOER you can enjoy an extensive lunch up to 6 courses on Second Christmas Day, or a dinner with 5 to 7 courses. Exciting!

Wolf Atelier: At Wolf Atelier on Second Christmas Day from 6 PM you can have a 7-course menu by Michael Wolf for €75, – including a glass of sparkling wine on arrival and an option for a matching 5-course wine pairing for €36, -!

Prinz Wolf: On Second Christmas Day, Prinz Wolf is open for a Boozy Christmas brunch from 11 AM to 2 PM. Lunch consists of tartar, oysters, cava and fries for €55,- per person. YUM!

Bluespoon: At Bluespoon you can be pampered by Bluespoon’s new chef Sander Bierenbroodspot with a 3-course Christmas lunch or extensive 4- or 5-course Christmas dinner on both Christmas days.

Prinz Wolf: To celebrate Second Christmas Day, you can go to Prinz Wolf for a Christmas brunch. Perfect to go out of the house with your family ór flee from family obligations ;-) Think of an all inclusive feast with oysters, cava, tartar, bites and fries for €55,- p.p.

Sofitel Legend The Grand: On First and Second Christmas Day there is a fancy Christmas brunch at The Grand in Amsterdam: enjoy the live music of Mijne Heeren, while an extensive buffet is served in the Raadzaal.

DopHert: Sunday December 24 you can go to DopHert for a festive vegan Christmas brunch! A buffet full of crusty delicacies with a lot of sweetness. YUM! The price is €24,50, including drinks.

Café Americain: On Christmas Eve you can go to the completely renewed Café Americain from 6 PM for a four course Christmas dinner for €50,- p.p. On First Christmas Day Café Americain is open for Christmas breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Kanarie Club: On Second Christmas Day you can join Kanarie Club for a festive Christmas brunch, then switch to drinks and end with a Christmas dinner. Perfect!

The French Connection: For a special Christmas dinner by chef Jef van den Hout you go to The French Connection at the Singel. Not the standard classic French cuisine, but the chef experiments in a creative Christmas dinner for €70,- p.p. Exciting ;-)

Wyers: Also Wyers, on the Nieuwezijds Voorburgwal, goes all the way at Christmas. On December 24, 25 and 26 you can join for Chef SammyD’s Christmas dinner with comforting American Christmas dishes. Think of lobster duets, duch breast, sea bass and sirloin steak. YUM! Wyers is also opened on First and Second Christmas Day for an all American Christmas Brunch with, among other things, beignets, pancakes, smoked seafood and crispy streaky bacon.

Choux: At Choux you can join for a Christmas dinner on Second Christmas Day. Choux is centrally located (next to the CS) and is certainly one of the favourites of Yourlbb! Be quick because this restaurant is popular ;-)

Xampanyeria Centra: Xampanyeria Centra is probably closed on First Christmas Day, but on Christmas Eve and Second Christmas Day you can enjoy a delicious Christmas dinner with of course lots of cava’s ;-)

Nacarat: YES, one of our favourite resto’s is open on First Christmas Day with a Christmas dinner and on Second Christmas Day for both lunch and dinner. We are already curious about the menu ;-)

The Seafood Bar: Also The Seafood Bar is open at Christmas and for the real seafood lovers this is of course the place to be on Christmas!

Mr Porter: The W Hotel is also open at Christmas! In the restaurant of Mr Porter you have a great view over the city center. And especially at Christmas this must be amazing with all those lights. Mr Porter is a real steak restaurant with the tastiest pieces of meat, yum!

The Duchess: The Christmas Afternoon Tea is served at The Duchess from the December 18 till 31. With Christmas, the high tea is even more special, with red coloured macarons, exclusive tea variations with winter melanges, red velvet cake and various champagnes!

IZAKAYA: On December 24, 25 and 26, IZAKAYA offers a special Christmas menu for €79,- p.p. Think of king crab tempura with ponzu, chilean sea bass and roasted venison. Sounds good!

ARC: For a brand new Christmas experience, you will be eating at ARC this year during the holidays. The ARC officially opens its doors the weekend before Christmas so there is no newer hotspot to enjoy all the culinary dishes of Peter Lute’s kitchen team during Christmas ;-)

De Foodhallen: Every Tuesday De Foodhallen is dedicated to Band & Bites. On Second Christmas Day from 6:30 PM till 21:30 PM Bands & Bites will be all about Christmas. For a Christmas gin-tonic, sign up at the G&T bar where the bartenders who will be wearing a Christmas hat, create the best Christmas specials for you.

Brooks: On December 24 and 25 the monthly Brooks Boozy Brunch is entirely dedicated to the holidays. At Brooks you drink ‘Christmas Spirits’ to completely get into the Christmas spheres. In addition to these boozy brunches, you can also enjoy a dinner with the whole family during these two days.

Helst: At Helst in De Pijp you can go for a seven-course ‘shared liquid dinner’ for €65, – p.p on December 25, 26 and 27. You start with a Christmas Beertail (yes, cocktail with beer!). You then enjoy seven small dishes to share with a festive beer pairing (or with a wine pairing). Something different for a change ;-)

Auberge: Auberge is open for a Christmas dinner on Christmas Eve and First Christmas Day. A Christmas menu will be served. The menu is almost ready and we are certainly very curious ;-)

Kitchen & Bar Van Rijn: At Kitchen & Bar Van Rijn on the Rembrandplein you can have an extensive 4-course dinner at Christmas. For €47,50 per person you can enjoy dishes with monkfish and deer rack and finish with a panna cotta with speculaas spices and cardamom ice cream. YUM!

Mama Makan: Prefer Indonesian food at Christmas? You can enjoy the Indonesian cuisine at Mama Makan during the holidays. On December 24, 25 and 26 there is a special Indonesian Brunch for €40,- per person.

Venster 33: On November 25 the G&T’s at Venster 33 are only €5,-! And for an extensive dinner you can come back the next day on December 26 for a 5-course surprise menu for €39,50 p.p.
