10 x restaurant in Amsterdam with parking

20 August 2014

Going out for dinner by car? No problem in Amsterdam!

Yourlbb gets many emails asking for restaurant recommendations that are  easy to reach by car. Places that are a great pick if you’re going for dinner with colleagues that all live in a different place or with friends from outside of Amsterdam. Or when it’s raining cats and dogs and you simply want to go out!

Time for a list with our top picks of restaurants in Amsterdam where parking your car is not a problem! Some locations offer free parking, others have a garage close by.

10 restaurants with easy parking in Amsterdam:

1. Hotel de Goudfazant – Amsterdam North
A classic in Amsterdam North offering a nicely priced 3 course menu for € 30,-. There’s a huge (paid) parking lot at Hotel de Goudfazant.
2. Oldschool – Amsterdam South
Do you know restaurant Oldschool in a former school building close to the RAI? You can always find a parking spot close to the restaurant.

3. Stork – Amsterdam North
Eating the best fish on the banks of the IJ lake. Stork is located in a former warehouse that is transformed into a seafood restaurant. Stork has a large parking lot next to the restaurant.

4. Cafe Zürich – De Baarsjes
Cosy cafe and restaurant at the Mercatorplein that is build on top of an underground parking garage. Cafe Zürich is perfect for affordable food!

5. THT – Amsterdam North
New restaurant at the Tolhuistuin in Amsterdam North. THT has a nice patio overlooking the IJ lake! Large parking lot next to the restaurant.

6. Rosa & Rita – Amsterdam City Center
Close to Amsterdam Roest you find Rosa & Rita. The menu is simple: steak or pizza. Huge parking space right in front of the door.

7. Loetje aan het IJ – Amsterdam North
Loetje is perfect for dinner with a large group of colleagues or friends. I ate a dozen of times at Loetje and the food is always good. At Loetje aan het IJ in Amsterdam you can park at the parking lot behind head-office the HEMA head-office.

8. Cafe Amsterdam – Amsterdam West
It doesn’t matter if you’re hungry for a tasty steak tartare, a plateau fruits de mer or hamburger… Cafe Amsterdam is one of those classics you always go back. You can park close by at the garage in the Van Bleiswijkstraat.

9. De Ysbreeker – Amsterdam East
For locals it’s a hassle to park ‘all the way’ at the parking lot behind the HvA and the Mauritsstraat. For people that eat the classic bistro dishes at the Ysbreeker it’s a great solution to always find a spot!

10. I-dock – Amsterdam West
Restaurant I-dock in Amsterdam West is located inside the Roommate Aitana hotel. When the weather is nice you can dine on the waterfront (nice!). The food is perfect for shared dining, the wines are good. Always enough parking available close by.

I hope these tips inspire you where to go on those occasions that you can’t take your bike or other people need to park their car. Enjoy!
