Why you should visit Restaurant V12 Amsterdam

So, the recently opened V12 is a jack of all trades. This new establishment is all about comfort and simplicity; they don't make things complicated for the sake of it, because the owners consider that a waste of time. And good food and drink don't have to be complicated, as they prove.

On Thursdays and Fridays, V12 opens at 17.00 p.m., and on weekends, they're also open for lunch from 12.00 p.m.

Menu V12

At V12, you can enjoy a chef's three-course menu or choose smaller dishes from the menu – how you ultimately spend your evening is entirely up to you. V12 has a new menu every month, but European cuisine always takes center stage. To give you an idea: at the time of writing, the menu includes a sea bass crudo, a fermented carrot dish, and beets with goat cheese. V12 also makes a splash with dessert: currently, it features rosewater posset, dulce de leche, and apricot. If you prefer an evening full of snacks (we understand that perfectly), the eggplant with anchovies is a must, as are the kimchi fritters. If the sunny terrace alone wasn't reason enough to join us, the surprising menu and the matching (natural) wines will.

Looking for a great place to throw a party? Then V12 might be just the place for you, as they have a private dining area for sixty to eighty people (!).
