Restaurant Johannes Amsterdam: culy hotspot at the Herengracht!

19 December 2013

Restaurant Johannes Amsterdam great culy hotspot!

Last Saturday my love and I went out for dinner to the new restaurant Johannes in Amsterdam. If you’re looking for a nice place to dine with your love or family this new gem is a great option. They say that the name is not related to the Amsterdam food critic Johannes van Dam… but, when you get your first amuse I would say it is. A mini homemade croquette! Restaurant Johannes Amsterdam is located in a beautiful old canal house at the Herengracht and the interior is ver cosy. Brasserie or French bistro style, always good! The menu changes bi-weekly and offers the best of the season. Restaurant Johannes in Amsterdam is perfect to enjoy a 4, 5 or 6 courses with wine pairings. My love and I tried and tested it and love this place. Great service, upscale food and great classic ambiance. We tasted 6 delicious dishes from a ceviche to dear and from coquilles from Schotland to cheese.  If you would love to taste that too, hurry up cause the menu will change after two weeks.
