Restaurant Breda Amsterdam: new restaurant on the Singel

21 January 2016

the southern taste has arrived in amsterdam with restaurant breda

There’s a new hotspot in town! Restaurant Breda has opened its doors. At first, the two chefs Guillaume de Beer and Freek van Noortwijk (from the City of Breda) were cooking at restaurant Daalder in the Jordaan, but now they want to bring the Southern taste to new heights with Restaurant Breda in Amsterdam.

At Restaurant Breda you’ll be dining in a chic setting, with high sealings, white tablecloths and ornate lamps. Our favourite on the menu? The cauliflower, mmm!

Before, the chefs were in charge of Guts & Glory at the Utrechtsestraat, where they cooked with a different main ingredient every other half year. With restaurant Breda they are bringing the Southern taste of the City of Breda to Amsterdam. And they are ambitious! The chefs want to cook on a high level by using modern and international ingredients. Maybe the level will be so high that they will earn themselves a Michelinstar… Anyways, we’re fan!
