I regularly receive messages asking if I know where in Amsterdam it's easy to park. It's handy if you're going out to dinner straight from work with colleagues who aren't from Amsterdam or meeting friends from outside the city. Or if it's pouring rain and you still want to grab a bite to eat without taking public transport.
So, it's time for a list of restaurants in Amsterdam with easy parking! Some locations offer free parking, while others simply require you to drive into a parking garage.
Helling7 is a beautiful hotspot in Amsterdam-Noord. Enjoy fine dining on arguably Amsterdam's coolest terrace. Not only is it easy to moor your boat, but there are also plenty of parking options.

At V12, you can enjoy a chef's three-course menu or choose smaller dishes from the menu – how you ultimately spend your evening is entirely up to you. V12 has a new menu every month, but European cuisine always takes center stage.

The upper floor of IJver Amsterdam offers several comfortable nooks and crannies for people-watching in the restaurant downstairs. You also have a view of the enormous beer barrels, and there are spaces available for rent for events or for large groups. It's the ideal spot for a leisurely dinner with family or colleagues.

Have you ever heard of the term "foraging"? It's a "biological term used to describe the regular, recurring search and acquisition of food by animals." In this case, let the animals be people, and let the Foer team surprise you with unique ingredients and flavors in their ever-changing menu. Nature's abundance is central, and the menu is therefore constantly evolving. At Foer, you can enjoy a 5-course meal for €60 and a 7-course meal for €69.

You'll find Choux Amsterdam near Amsterdam Central Station in a completely renovated building. The interior is modern with a vintage touch and a splash of red. The Chef's Table, overlooking the kitchen, is highly recommended. It can comfortably seat up to 18 people.

Anyone looking for a night out with international allure will want (and indeed, must!) head to Nela Amsterdam. You've probably seen the unique building The Valley in Amsterdam Zuid on Instagram, but did you know it also serves excellent food? At Nela, you can enjoy an evening of lavish dining with a table full of divine dishes to share, fine wines, and excellent cocktails. It's a place where you'll want to go the extra mile to dress up, with ample parking thanks to its location in the Zuidas business district.

N next to De Japanner Strandeiland (near Strand Blijburg) and the well-known establishments in Oud-West en De Pijp, De Japanner Amsterdam-Zuid recently opened its doors. And this place is unlike anything else: you can not only enjoy a delicious Japanese lunch and dinner there (De Japanner is one of our favorite Japanese restaurants in Amsterdam), but also for meetings, renting spaces for private dining, and screaming (sorry, singing) your lungs out during karaoke. A versatile venue, with something for everyone.

It seems like everything chef Joris Bijdendijk* touches turns to gold. In no time, Wils Amsterdam became so popular that it became the talk of the town. And it still is, because after dining here and trying the oysters doused in beef fat (heated in a special funnel over an open fire), they immediately want to make another reservation. After a while, Joris also opened Wils Bakery Café, an all-day dining hotspot like they do in France, with delicious sourdough bread from their own bakery.

Buiten is a fantastic city beach in Amsterdam West. Hotel Buiten Amsterdam is the perfect place to be when the sun is shining. It's a city beach without sand, but with plenty of water. Hotel Buiten is located right next to the Sloterplas lake. So it's perfect if you want to get out of the direct sun and enjoy a cold drink in the shade.

The founders of the Amsterdam beer brand Lowlander's Botanical Bar & Restaurant aimed to create a "botanical heaven" to complement their ever-popular drinks. At the new Lowlander Botanical Bar & Restaurant in Amsterdam-Noord, everything nature has to offer takes center stage. Think herbs, plants, vegetables, and fruit, and the interior design also revolves around natural elements. In short: the ultimate hotspot in Amsterdam North, if only for the great terrace and ample parking.

If you live near the Ysbreeker like me, it's quite annoying having to park your car all the way on the HvA lot. However, if you're going out for dinner with a group, this parking lot near Mauritsstraat is a godsend! At the Ysbreeker, you can enjoy classic brasserie dishes at a reasonable price.
