Recipe: How to make Greek tirokafteri at home, the ultimate paprika feta dip

A tasty dip is an essential part of any charcuterie board. Think of classics like tzatziki, hummus, or aioli. But a good dipper is also important for tasting all the delicious treats. Recipe: tirokafteri

You need:
1 red peppers
1/2 clove garlic
2 sprigs of oregano
1/2 lemon
250 g feta cheese
1 red pepper
100 ml Greek yogurt
Salt and pepper
Paprika powder, optional

Tirokafteri Recipe: How to Make It

  1. Roast the bell pepper over the gas burner. Let it cool completely and remove the skin and seeds. Finely chop the garlic. Strip the leaves from the oregano sprigs. You can also use dried oregano instead of fresh. Squeeze half a lemon and place all the ingredients in a bowl. Mix with the blender of food processor until smooth. Season with salt and pepper to taste. When serving, drizzle the tirokafteri with a few more drops of olive oil and sprinkle with paprika.
