Radio Copenhagen: new Nordic cuisine hotspot
When I’m on a citytrip discovering new restaurants my heart skips a beat when I find a gem like Radio Copenhagen. Located in the middle of a residential area West of Norrebro you wouldn’t immediately notice this lovely restaurant if you walk by. Restaurant Radio Copenhagen is a small restaurant full of Scandinavian design. Lots of black furniture combined with wood, white and dark grey. We were at Radio Copenhagen for lunch. A very special lunch I have to say. The concept is as follows: they have five daily smaller sized dishes. You can order up to five different dishes which will be served in a specific order. All dishes cost 100DK per dish. We ordered three courses of deliciousness with wine pairings. The first bite was a beautiful amuse with radish and smoked goat cheese. Very good! So were the scallops with cowl and seaweed in oyster sauce, the pork belly with spring onion and capers and the Danish cheese. Restaurant Radio Copenhagen belongs to the top restaurants in the city and I would definitely go back there for a special occasion dinner.
