Until March 31 in Amsterdam: this Breakfast pop-up in De Pijp

25 March 2016

go to the quaker cruesli club for brekkie on Easter weekend

You cannot start your day any better than with a healthy breakfast, right? Especially not when you can build your own perfect breakfast bowl with several cruesli flavours, yoghurt and fresh fruit. And that for just € 2,-. I don’t think there’s any other shop that serves a cheaper breakfast in Amsterdam! Until March 31 cruesli lovers can eat their heart out at the Quaker Cruesli Club in the Gerard Doustraat 76 in Amsterdam.

I think we all know Quaker. Their cruesli with chocolate was my breakfast in my student life for years. It was my guilty pleasure, or should I say #mydailypleasure, to snack it without without milk or yoghurt. So good! And now they have a pop-up in Amsterdam. You understand, I had to stop by when I was in the Gerard Doustraat to shop.

The opening of this pop-up is not without a reason! It’s to celebrate the new recipe of Quaker Cruesli. All crueslis contain 30% less sugar than other cruesli variaties without adding artificial sweetening and loosing the crunchy bite. In the pop-up they also sell the limited edition flavours: Cookies & Cream en Black Berrylicious.

And there’s plenty of choice, because they serve all the different flavours. But if you have to choose one the limited edition Cookies & Cream is a must try. Delicious with fresh berries! Do you have little time? Then they have – very practical – a breakfast on the go. The Quaker Cruesli Club will be open until March 31 at the Gerard Doustraat 76. Ideal for your Eastern brekkie ;-). Check the Facebook page of Quaker for the menu and all photos of the club!
