TIP: July 15 and 16 you want to go to the new summer food festival PROEF PAMPUS

4 July 2017

Let’s have a picnic on an island during Proef pampus

On July 15 and 16, the uninhabited island Pampus transforms into a new summer food festival where life-lovers can enjoy food & drinks, music, workshops, entertainment, shopping and above all a lot of fun with friends. Pampus was built in the nineteenth century as a self-defense for Amsterdam and is now a museum and the perfect spot for water activities and a day out. The third weekend of July we can visit the biggest and best picnic of the year PROEF PAMPUS.

The base of this new culinary and cultural festival PROEF PAMPUS is made up of food stands and bars with special beers of small brewers. From big meals to exquisite delicacies and all as sustainable and organic as possible. Of course this is not all, there’s more is happening on this paradise island. There are crazy bands to listen to, a fortune teller to take a look on your future, a tattoo artist and even a field where the kids can build huts and ‘play’ with fire.
