Porcupine Cafe Bangkok (Soi Ari): coffee hotspot

Hipster district Ari and hotspot Porcupine Cafe

Bangkok is such a cool city! Porcupine Cafe in Bangkok is a coffee bar where you can also grab a bite to eat in the lovely "Ari" district. This neighborhood is a must-visit for anyone who loves hotspots. Bangkok is such a vibrant and diverse city… really, I could live there :-).

At Porcupine Cafe Bangkok, they know what good coffee is! As an iced coffee fanatic, I naturally go for the iced latte. And for a change, I'm writing my blog right there at Porcupine Cafe. Working while traveling is a perk of solo travel! Then I can share my travel stories directly without being an unsociable table companion for my travel buddies. LOL.

Porcupine Cafe Bangkok has a super cool interior. White walls, rock-like tiles on the floor, and a mix of light wood furniture and vintage. I'm sure you'll like this spot! Porcupine Cafe Bangkok also has a cozy covered patio, but since it's almost 30 degrees, I'm sitting comfortably in the air conditioning ;-).

The menu at Porcupine Cafe Bangkok offers international dishes. Various types of spaghetti (including Thai style), burgers, and salads. I had a spinach dish with cheese baked in the oven. Delicious! And since I'd already had fried noodles for breakfast, it was a nice change of pace.

Looking at the beautiful cakes in the display case, I wish I liked sweet cakes more. The NY style cheesecakes and red velvet cakes look SO delicious!

The Ari neighborhood in Bangkok is really a bit of a hipster neighborhood and a must-visit if you go to Bangkok!
