Earlier this year, the new food concept ‘Bennies’ delighted Amsterdam with its pop-up restaurant. Now, the urban Schinkel District can rejoice once again, as Bennies is returning for a second round, reopening its doors on November 16, 2023. With a brand-new look and an irresistibly new menu, Bennies 2.0 promises to be just as successful as the first edition, offering good vibes, high-quality bites and drinks, and even a genuine croissanterie during lunch this time.

Get tickets for Bennies and join them at the industrial venue in the Schinkel neighborhood.

During this edition, Chef Rick Swinkels will once again showcase his culinary expertise. Through the new 4-course menu, he will surprise everyone with his creations, demonstrating how delicious simplicity can be. Expect fresh seasonal ingredients, classic and new flavour sensations, and of course, complimentary beverages. Various wines and beers will be served during the evening, and the popular cocktails are also making their comeback. Get ready for Palomas and Negronis!

Prepare yourself for an unforgettable culinary evening with a relaxed atmosphere and excellent service. You can join us from Thursday to Saturday at 6:30 PM, 7:00 PM, 7:30 PM, or 8:00 PM, and enjoy lingering at the table until late. I’m planning to visit the boys myself, and I’m very curious about the dishes I’ve already seen on Instagram.

If you’re interested in the previous edition, be sure to check out the post below. I, personally, find the location really COOL! It’s situated in the raw and slightly forgotten part of Old South, in one of the few industrial areas the city still has that isn’t filled with apartments. The Schinkel District is definitely worth keeping an eye on; I believe we’ll be hearing a lot more about it in the coming years.

To secure your spot at the pop-up dinner, you need to purchase tickets in advance. Check the link below for prices and availability! Curious about the menu? Check it out here!

Croissanterie by day, pop up restaurant by night

Not only the 4-course menu will be in the spotlight during this edition. Bennie’s is adding something entirely new to the pop-up this time: a croissanterie! Between 12:00 PM and 4:00 PM, everyone can drop by to enjoy delicious sandwiches, generously filled croissants, and sweet treats. The croissanterie is open on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. As the sun sets, the croissanterie makes way for drinks and dinner.

Starting at 6:30 PM, you can join for the evening program. Get your tickets quickly and get ready for this cool pop-up in the Schinkel District!
