This week I was really touched by this video:
I would for sure help the girl! And I think every woman re recognises situation like this. Asking a friend or a stranger for some ‘you know what’. After an issue like this it’s back to business as usual in Holland. Unfortunately it’s not like this for every girl in the world when they get their period.
In Uganda there are girls who can’t go to school when they have their period. Simply for the reason that they don’t have access to sanitary pads. With only € 5,- you can help 1 girl for 1 year with this help she can finish her school. Finally a problem that’s easy to solve!

My boyfriend is half Ugandan and I’ve been to Uganda many times. It’s a beautiful country with beautiful people. I’m really happy that I can do something back to the girls there by supporting this project of Plan Netherlands!
