Anyone who loves good pizza will undoubtedly know the company behind Pizza Rebels Amsterdam. The creatives behind the new establishment in the Jordaan are part of Magnia Pizza, which also has locations in the city centre and the Vondelpark area.
Ambience and interior at Pizza Rebels Amsterdam
‘Your pizza gallery in the heart of the Jordaan,’ reads the Instagram page of Pizza Rebels Amsterdam. A bit rebellious, you might say, and rightly so, thanks to the extensive experience of founder Antonio Cavoto. As a young boy in Naples, he learned the art of pizza-making from his father, Salvatore. Despite a civil engineering degree, Antonio dedicated his life to perfecting Neapolitan pizzas in Amsterdam. He moved to our capital in 2017 to work for Magnio Pizza, where he became a co-owner a year later. Since then, a pizza empire has been born, and the Magnio Group now boasts no fewer than five locations, with Rebels being the latest addition.
At Pizza Rebels Amsterdam, you’ll taste authentic Italian flavours and experience a genuine Italian vibe. The venue is brightly decorated, with large windows that make the space more open. The cheerful artwork on the walls adds colour and atmosphere to the room (extra fun: all pieces are for sale!), while the otherwise understated interior gives it a tranquil feel.
Menu and dishes at Pizza Rebels
Now, the menu – as expected, with pizzas perfected down to the most minor details. For those who can’t choose (we understand), the tasting menu features four to six slices of different flavours. These slices are also available individually or as a whole pizza. The Bloody Rapa is a favourite among meat lovers, as is the Domenico Napoleata. Among vegetarians, the Mozzarella & Pomodoro is a hit, proving that little embellishment is needed with quality ingredients.
Pizza Rebels is perfect for a casual dinner
Fans of Italian cuisine will want to head to Pizza Rebels as soon as possible. This spot is also ideal for those seeking a low-key place to enjoy good food. Great for families, friends, or as a casual date spot.
