Pizza Rebels Amsterdam: the place where art and excellent Neapolitan pizza come together

Atmosphere and interior at Pizza Rebels Amsterdam

"Your pizza gallery in the heart of the Jordaan," proclaims the Instagram page of Pizza Rebels Amsterdam. A bit rebellious, you might say, and rightly so, thanks to the extensive experience of founder Antonio Cavoto. As a young boy in Naples, he learned the art of pizza making from his father, Salvatore. And despite his degree in civil engineering, Antonio dedicated his life to perfecting Neapolitan pizzas, albeit in Amsterdam. He moved to our capital in 2017 to work for Magnio Pizza, becoming co-owner a year later. Since then, a pizza empire has been born, and Magnio Group now boasts no fewer than five locations, with Rebels being the latest addition.

At Pizza Rebels Amsterdam, you'll experience not only authentic Italian flavors but also a truly Italian atmosphere. The brightly decorated space boasts large windows that make it feel more spacious. The cheerful wall art adds color and ambiance (extra bonus: it's all for sale!), while the otherwise understated decor creates a sense of calm.

Menu and dishes at Pizza Rebels

Then there's the menu, as you might expect, with pizzas perfected down to the smallest detail. For those who can't decide (and we understand), there's the tasting menu, consisting of four to six slices of different flavors. These slices can also be ordered individually or as a whole pizza. The Bloody Rapa is a favorite among meat eaters, as is the Domenico Napoleata. The Mozzarella & Pomodoro is a hit among vegetarians, and it proves that with good ingredients, you need minimal frills.
