When the sun is shining and the temperature is perfect for a lunch or even dinner after work in the park we always want to have a picnic! I can enjoy these long summer evening with friends and good food in the grass. Life’s good! That’s why we went to Vondelpark this afternoon and ordered a delicious and healthy picknick to eat in the park. We got the poké bowls of Poké Perfect and a few healthy juices of Juice Brothers. We love them!

The Fat Dog: Hot dogs, hot dogs, hot dogs! Lay down into the park and enjoy the tasty hot dogs of The Fat Dog. I dropped my eye on the Naughty Bangkok, a hot dog with sweet sour vegetables, red curry mayonnaise, coriander and crispy rice. Or the Geert Wilders, a hot dog with ‘less’ stuff on it. Just a hot dog with bread. Hilarious.
Poké Perfect: You can order the best and tastiest poké bowls in Amsterdam at Poké Perfect. Make your own bowl with a lot of salmon and mango or go for the delicious The Witzel.

Proeflokaal van Wees: Take for tapas from Proeflokaal van Wees tonight. Salt sausages, farmers cheese, 9 pepper sausage and of course a good platter and bitter balls. An evening like this can’t go wrong.
Viêt View: A picnic with Vietnamese street food, why not? Do you take the rice paper rolls with shrimp or the Vietnamese stuffed sandwich with, for example, caramelized pork belly or tofu? You can also take both of course ;-)
Bowls & Buns: Bao buns are always a go. The BBQ Pulled Pork with lettuce, pickle, crispy bacon and Missisippi BBQ sauce sounds good, or do I take the Black Soy Tempeh, with crispy black soy tempeh, cucumber, bush, fried onion, peanuts and sriracha hoisin sauce?
Vlees Noch Visch: For a while already, I want to try the Award Winning Pita’s of Vleesch Noch Visch. The world famous Pita Gyros sounds so good. A Greek pita with vegetarian gyros, homemade tzatziki, rucola, tomato, red onion, oregano and lots of love (Winner 24Kitchen Food Truck Awards).
Lavanta: The perfect picnic in the park is complete with the couscous salad, köfte and wraps with lamb from Lavanta. Don’t forget to order a Börek, puff pastry baked in the oven filled with feta or spinach. Very nice!
Juice Brothers: AlsWhen the weather is good and it’s sunny we’re always craving a healthy meal and a healthy juice. Order next to your poké bowl or tapas a fresh juice or smoothie and enjoy your free day off in the park. Love it!

Jabugo Bar Iberico: Order one of the mixed platters at Jabugo Bar Iberico. For example, the mixed platter with various types of Spanish meats like the Salchichon and Chorizo. Salchichon, a salami with a pepper but without garlic. Chorizo, a light spicy sausage and Spanish bell pepper. And a bowl of 3 kinds of olives and one half Barra Gallega.
Oresti’s Taverne: Go for tapas & mezze during your picnic in Amsterdam. As if you are in a beautiful park in Spain. Order Pata Negra, the best raw ham in the world, Gambas with a spicy cream sauce, Pimento Padron, oil-fried green peppers, of course Manchego, Tortilla de Espinacas and Aioli bread.
