Pickup at nNea? It's finally possible, thanks to the new nNextDoor

Great news! We recently learned that nNea—the world-famous pizza restaurant on Bilderdijkstraat in Amsterdam West—is opening a new concept. nNextdoor is a reality, meaning you can finally enjoy the restaurant's delicious pizzas at home. Here's everything we know so far about the brand-new hotspot.

Let's be honest: our hearts leaped when we heard about nNextdoor. Anyone who's even remotely familiar with nNea knows they're often fully booked year-round. You read that right: the rest of the year, you can't get in unless you have a reservation. Because demand is so high, the owners thought it would be a good idea to experiment with takeout pizzas, in addition to the frozen options they already offer.

It's no wonder that nNea is already fully booked for the coming year. Pizza lovers from all over the world travel to Amsterdam for a pizza from this place. nNea is also highly regarded internationally; the restaurant is currently ranked 6th among the best pizzerias in Europe and nNea is undoubtedly one of the best pizzerias in Amsterdam.

It's not yet known exactly what will be on nNextdoor's takeout menu, but there's a good chance they'll primarily be delivering their phenomenal pizzas. The secret recipe behind their fluffy pizza bases has been the subject of much speculation for years. The owners themselves believe the authentic recipe is not easy to discover, let alone copy. The airy dough is the result of years of experience, research, and testing using nothing but the finest, freshest ingredients.

If it's your first time at nNea for takeout, choosing can be quite a challenge. Want to experience a true Neapolitan pizza? Then the owners recommend the "Provola en peper en Oro di Bufala." They say this pizza is perfect for experiencing the purity of the ingredients and the softness of the dough. Their more complex pizzas are also a hit: from the partenope with octopus to the capefiori.
