The Pekmarkt in Amsterdam North is a must visit if you like to do your shopping on the The market is happening. Another good reason to take the ferry to Noord. There's still so much going on here!

The Pekmarkt isn't entirely new, but the concept has been significantly revised. Besides the usual market goods, you can now also find organic and vintage products. I enjoy shopping at the Pekmarkt on Saturdays and then having lunch at Jacques Jour.

Tip: Also nice near the Pekmarkt: THT en EYE. Or go to the NDSM wharf with Bistro Noord, PLLEK and the monthly IJhallen Flea Market.
