Paté Paté Copenhagen Meatpacking district: hotspot with great food and vibe

29 June 2013

Pate Pate Copenhagen dinner hotspot for yuppies

The Meatpacking district in Copenhagen is the coolest area of the town at night! During the day it’s totally abandoned, with only a few restaurants open for brunch on the weekends. But at night all the trendy restaurants open their doors and trendy Copenhagen heads to the Meatpacking district to go out. Pate Pate Copenhagen is located in a former Paté factory and the latest addition to the hot and trendy Meatpacking district. We went there for dinner on Saturday night and I was very happy to discover this hotspot. At Pate Pate Copenhagen they don’t serve Nordic cuisine, but bistro style food and normal sized portions. I had a delicious gazpacho as a starter, just always like the cold soups. For the main course I can highly recommend the Onglet, it’s so good. The atmosphere at Pate Pate Copenhagen is very cool. The crowd is trendy, mostly over thirty and there are a lot of yuppies. It actually made me think of Amsterdam a lot! The staff at Pate Pate Copenhagen is very friendly and helpful. Our reservation didn’t come through and unless it was very busy they had a table for us in not more than 15 minutes. After dinner at Pate Pate Copenhagen it’s nice to stick around for drinks when they turn up the volume!
