At the Yourlbb editorial team, we love enjoying a delicious pancake every now and then. Don't feel like making them yourself? Luckily, there are always several places in Amsterdam where pancakes are on the menu! From healthy options (think: buckwheat pancake with fresh fruit) to slightly less healthy options (think: with bacon and cheese). These spots serve the best pancakes in Amsterdam!

HOME ALONE 4 INCOMING 😅 My trip to NYC ends in a bad (Christmas) movie when the hotel gives my carry-on luggage with passport to an old lady who doesn't realize this and checks the luggage on a flight to the UK!
Now I'm stuck here in NY without a passport, and I missed my flight.
I've experienced a lot in all the years I've been traveling for Your Little Black Book, but this is a first 😅.
This chat video is purely therapeutic in nature 🤣🤣🤣. Because really: HOW?! 🫢
Note to self: it's better to carry your passport all day, instead of leaving it "safely" in the hotel, apparently... and from now on, attach suitcases with cables in the storage room. Even if you're staying in a luxurious and expensive hotel, everything is still done by humans.
Now I'm stuck in one of the world's coolest cities, but of course I just want to be home with Manuel, as planned. 😔
To be continued 🧳✈️
And thanks for all the sweet DMs ❤️❤️❤️❤️

How cool is this? There are places in the Netherlands where you can cut down your own Christmas tree! You don't hear about it very often, even though it's quite common in America (where I'm currently!).
Good to know: some of these places in the Netherlands are only open for a few days a year and you have to reserve a time slot.
💬 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 “𝗞𝗘𝗥𝗦𝗧𝗕𝗢𝗢𝗠” and I will send you the article with all the details and dates in your DM.
Have fun!

This time we went to @williams.farmhouse, one of my favorite lunch spots in Amsterdam Oud-Zuid. But is it also fun during the day with kids?
We ordered a 'plain' version of the Farmhouse burger 🍔: yes, really just meat + cheese 🤣… and together with the fries it was a mega success.
Happy child, happy us... and it was such a cozy, rainy afternoon. I mean, this interior makes me dream of the Cotswolds again!
Do you have a favorite 𝗸𝗶𝗱 𝗳𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗹𝘆 𝘀𝗽𝗼𝘁 in Amsterdam or the Netherlands?
Let me know in the comments, I'll collect everything for the next 𝗞𝗜𝗗𝗦𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗘𝗙!

At Badhuis on Javaplein in Amsterdam-Oost, you can enjoy a cozy meal from early morning until late at night. The menu features fluffy American pancakes with blueberries, Guérande butter, and maple syrup that you'll want to order every day. The inviting terrace, child-friendly menu, and relaxed atmosphere make this a great place to relax with the whole family.

On Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, you can join Stacks Diner for a delightful American brunch. Think buttermilk pancakes with seasonal fruit that look like they came straight from a New York diner. Everything here revolves around comfort food with a homemade twist, from spicy fried chicken to lime pie and excellent cocktails.

Vinyl and pancakes: a combination you simply can't ignore at Loop51 in Amsterdam. During the day, it's all about brunch with a musical twist, and the menu features surprising pancakes like The Coop – topped with scrambled eggs, halloumi, avocado, mushrooms, hash browns, and a touch of maple. At Lagom in Amsterdam, you can enjoy brunch all day long, just the way it should be. On the menu are their delicious banana oat pancakes with maple syrup, toasted walnuts, banana, and cinnamon. Besides their incredibly delicious Egg Atlantic, Bar Bukowski also serves American pancakes with fresh fruit, and if you ask me: definitely add bacon. The combination of sweet and savory, with a generous drizzle of syrup, is, in my opinion, the ultimate brunch hack. Bukowski is right next to Oosterpark and is the perfect spot for a lazy weekend brunch after a pleasant morning stroll in the park.
Oosterpark 10, Amsterdam – Bar bukowski
From savory to sweet, real hangover pancakes or Oreo pancakes, Madam Pancake has everything you could possibly want. Which pancake will you try first?
Lange Niezel 18, Amsterdam – Madampancake.com
Prefer delicious crêpes instead of pancakes? Then Kessens is the place to be! You can also order a breakfast menu served with juice and coffee. Something to celebrate? They're happy to serve you a glass of bubbly with your breakfast! In the warmer months, they open their doors and have a few tables on the terrace.
Rozengracht 24, Amsterdam, Center – Kessensamsterdam.nl
After a leisurely stroll through the Amsterdamse Bos, enjoy a delicious pancake at Boerderij Meerzicht. With over 50 different flavors on the menu, there's sure to be one you'll love!

MOAK Pancakes is Amsterdam's best pancake restaurant. Here you can enjoy pancakes for breakfast! MOAC They serve organic pancakes with some truly surprising combinations. So, no traditional Dutch pancakes with syrup or bacon. But a pancake with avocado, for example. Or with bacon, cheese, and onion. YUM!
Multiple locations in Amsterdam – Moakpancakes.nl
At AT7, you can choose from a variety of pancakes, some healthier than others. For example, try the healthy oatmeal-banana pancakes with yogurt, fruit, cinnamon, and syrup, or the pancakes with bacon or syrup and powdered sugar.

Delicious fluffy pancakes with syrup are on the menu at Staring at Jacob! You can order extra toppings like nuts, seasonal fruit, and chocolate. Also delicious: the "all-around" dish with soft scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, fries, fluffy pancakes, and syrup. Just make sure you come on an empty stomach!
Jacob Van Lennepkade 215, Amsterdam – Staringatjacob.nl
At this charming hotspot, you can choose from a wide variety of egg dishes when you come for brunch. They also serve pancakes; perfect for the weekend! Order the B&R Special with poached, fried, or scrambled eggs, bacon toast, and pancakes with organic Canadian syrup. Here too, come on an empty stomach!

A favorite lunch spot in the at the center Lavinia is Amsterdam's favorite. Because they serve delicious, healthy dishes and it's so comfortable to relax on the Chesterfield sofa. What I didn't know, though, is that they also serve gluten-free banana pancakes with fresh fruit and maple syrup!
Church Street 176, Amsterdam – Laviniagoodfood.nl
The Pancake Bakery on Prinsengracht has been a household name among pancake lovers since 1973. Their extensive menu features both Dutch classics and surprising international pancakes. Have a sweet tooth? Then the Brazilian pancake with walnut ice cream, mocha sauce, amaretto, sliced almonds, and whipped cream is one you won't want to miss!
