Ostend is a small town on the coast in Belgium. Perfect for a weekend getaway. Especially when the sun is shining! Relax on the boulevard or the beach during the day, and enjoy mussels and fries and Belgian beers in the evening. And have I mentioned how great Ostend is for shopping?

Ostend offers a fantastic selection of shops, from Zara to H&M, and from vintage designer clothes to luxury boutiques. These are my favorite shopping hotspots:

Brutus

Brutus Oostende is a small boutique with beautiful designer brands and the latest trends in shoes, clothing, and accessories. There's a boutique for both men and women!

The Oxygen

In the luxury boutique The Oxygen In Ostend, you can indulge your fashion heart. From Patrizia Pepe to Supertrash, and from super beautiful shoes to adorable dresses.

The Alchemist

Are you crazy about vintage? And especially designer vintage? Then The Alchemist Ostend is a boutique you don't want to miss. I bought a super cool faux fur bomber jacket there!

Lily

This cozy boutique is like a candy store for ladies! I spotted a polka dot dress with a twist. Lily Ostend! With hearts instead of dots :-).

Houndstooth

Another boutique in Ostend! Houndstooth is a great shopping hotspot in the city center where they sell beautiful brands and trendy accessories.

Food and Drinks in Ostend

I love the delicious food in Belgium! In Ostend, you can enjoy delicious fish at one of the many bistros. Don't expect trendy restaurants on the boulevard like in Amsterdam, but you will find delicious mussels and fries on the menu!

The Great House Ostend

This unique restaurant is located in a historic building that was once a brewery. The menu at The Big House Ostend is delicious and full of classic Belgian dishes. You definitely have to try the shrimp croquettes!

Enoteca del BereBene Oostende

My favorite! You know how much I love good Italian food and good wines. This cozy restaurant has a great atmosphere. Recommended by
Enoteca del BereBene The mixed platter with various delicacies as a starter and the dish of the day (it couldn't be fresher!). I'm sure you'll love this place!

Passe-Vite Ostend

Trendy lunchroom with a cozy coffee café downstairs and a restaurant upstairs where you can have a nice lunch. Pass has healthy salads and homemade pastas on the menu and is open until 16 pm.

Budget: Mondo hotel

Mondo is a small boutique hotel in Ostend, superbly centrally located just behind the boulevard. Perfect for a weekend getaway with friends or family.

Luxury: Leopold 5 hotel

Treat yourself to pure luxury at Leopold 5 hotel in Ostend. Centrally located, fully furnished with design, beautiful bathroom with luxury bath products... Need I go on? :-)

B&B Espace Divin

Looking for a hotel in Ostend that feels like home? Then book the B&B Divine Space From the same owners as the lovely restaurant Del BereBene. You can roll home after all that wine ;-).
