Omelegg Amsterdam is a super fun place in De Pijp where you can eat all day You can have breakfast. Two hipster brothers opened Omelegg a few months ago, and the concept is a great addition to the Amsterdam restaurant scene. A real innovation! I finally had breakfast at Omelegg recently. Well, breakfast... I think it was 2:30. Well, we had a really fun party on Friday ;-). So, a hearty omelet went down well!
Hotspot Omelegg reminded me of an omelette shop I'd been to in Madrid. The menu features omelets, other egg dishes, and a chicken burger. Omelegg goes through 3.000 eggs a week! There are so many delicious omelets on the menu that I can hardly choose. So I'm going for something I've never tried before: an omelette with smoked salmon, crème frêche, and dill called The Viking Fisherman. All the dishes have super original names, by the way. Love it! You can choose brown or corn bread with your omelette. Next time at Omelegg, I'll try one of the specials, like the shakshuka with spicy chorizo that my boyfriend had. It smelled so incredibly good!

The interior at Omelegg is super cool. Think farmhouse meets vintage and countryside meets city. With lots of wood, antique items, and a super cool open kitchen that's almost as long as the place itself. Above the tables hang notebooks where you can leave your feedback or comments. Some people even create artwork to share how delicious their meal was :-). You can find Omelegg at Ferdinand Bolstraat On the section south of the Ceintuurbaan. Here, your omelet is made with love. And you can taste it!
Have you been to Omelegg yet? I'm curious to know what your favorite is!
