Old Biscuit Mill Cape Town is a shopping paradise
Shopping and dining in Cape Town? Yes, please! The Old Biscuit Mill in the Woodstock district is a fantastic destination. A former factory transformed into a shopping paradise, it's also home to some of the best restaurants in town.
At Old Biscuit Mill Cape Town, you'll find The Test Kitchen and the Pot Luck Club, among other things. Both are fantastic, but reservations are required three months in advance. For coffee, Espresso Lab is highly recommended. Their iced coffee is so delicious that we spontaneously ordered another one. Definitely worth a try! Old Biscuit Mill Cape Town is a great place to shop. There are many charming independent boutiques with beautiful home accessories and fashion. So make sure you leave some room in your suitcase.
Love fun weekend markets? Then go to the Old Biscuit Mill on Saturday! That's when it's Neighbor Goods Market in Cape Town. Great! Not a well-kept secret, as it's incredibly busy. But highly recommended for delicious food, live music, and a great atmosphere!

Note to self: always leave room in your suitcase for souvenirs. During my ski trip to Méribel, I popped into the local pharmacy just before leaving, and these are the beauty products I took home.

Think: Dim Sum Sunday in Noord, vibrant Chinese New Year celebrations across the city and a Vietnamese Tết feast at @yen.diningbar. Add market gems like the @le.temps.perdu.brocante pop-up in Oud-West and @themakermarket at De Hallen, and your weekend basically plans itself.

While I'm currently hopping from hotel to hotel and neighborhood to neighborhood in Bangkok (all in the name of “research” and new food hotspots for the new LITTLE BLACK BOOK 😉). Back home, Amsterdam is serving peak weekend vibes.
Think: Dim Sum Sunday in Noord, vibrant Chinese New Year celebrations across the city and a Vietnamese Tết feast at @yen.diningbar. Add market gems like the @le.temps.perdu.brocante pop-up in Oud-West and @themakermarket at De Hallen, and your weekend basically plans itself.
And yes, make time for ARTIS: there are now two elephant calves and they're too cute. 🐘🐘 Instant serotonin incoming, I promise!
