Nop Tallinn: great cafe with an organic store

31 August 2013

Everything organic at lovely Nop Tallinn

Nop Tallinn was the fist hotspot we discovered our city trip. My follower Isabelle wrote me on Facebook to let me know that she loved Tallinn and Nop was one of her favourite addresses in Tallinn. It’s only a 10 minute walk from the Swissotel and we went for a lunch when we just arrived in Tallinn. Once you find this cute wooden restaurant you’ll be happy you went there.

.

In the summer Nop Tallinn has a nice garden patio where you can enjoy a lunch outside. You have to order your food and drinks at the counter and they bring it to your table. Did you by the way know that sandwiches are not very common in the Nordics for lunch? So prepare for a warm meal or salad! We had a delicious organic beef burger and a home made lemon juice. At Nop Tallinn the crowd is mixed from yuppie young families to couples. This place is also great for cappuccino with pie or cake. They have delicious sweet pastry at Nop Tallinn you should definitely try when you’re in town!

Organic grocery store at Nop Tallinn

If I lived in Tallinn I would go to Nop for grocery shopping. The store is connected to the cafe and they have a great selection of food most of it straight from the farms on the country side of Estonia. Nop Tallinn is the place to be for organic food.
