Why you should visit NO-YUSU Amsterdam
Amsterdam North is now the new home to a number of trendy specialty coffee shops. NO-YUSU Amsterdam (NO stands for North) is one of the newest additions to the list. As you might imagine, NO-YUSU is the sibling of the popular YUSU in Amsterdam East. A pleasant, inclusive place where everyone feels welcome and valued, and where the coffee always tastes good and the staff continues to surprise with homemade pastries.
YUSU's new location is a temporary one; it previously housed Kometen Bakkerij, which recently relocated to the NDSM Wharf due to a temporary permit. After the move, the permit was renewed, and YUSU's owners saw the opportunity for a temporary second business.

Menu NO-YUSU
NO-YUSU's concept is similar to its East location; both serve high-quality coffees, matchas, and homemade snacks, but their aesthetics are quite different. While the East location is more Instagrammable and picture-perfect, the new North location is a bit more rugged. It resembles an old sports bar, but with a very stylish twist. It's the place to hang out with friends, play a healthy third round with your team, or hang out with your little one; NO-YUSU offers something for everyone.
The menu boasts the same delicacies you've come to expect. Homemade madeleines, cheesecakes, cream tarts, and crispy cookies. Just try to resist.

Heading out of town? 🍂 These are my favorite walking and drinking spots in the Netherlands.
To be honest... I don't see myself living outside the city anytime soon, but on weekends I do enjoy getting out into nature. That's why I've created a YLBB shortlist of the most beautiful hiking areas, complete with a great spot for drinks nearby.
My perfect Sunday? First, a walk, then plopping down somewhere with a treat or a hot chocolate (or, of course, a glass of wine and bitterballen!).

I used to think Halloween was stupid 🎃.
But since I became a mother, it has become one of our favorite holidays!
