At nnea amsterdam you can eat Neapolitan pizzas 2.0
It is packed when we arrive at nNea Amsterdam at half past seven Amsterdam west to go get a pizza. We're not the only ones who've heard about this new pizza hotspot in Amsterdam westGood news travels fast. If you have to wait for a table, grab a drink at the bar. The menu is full of wines from Campania (one of Italy's oldest wine regions) and specialty beers from Amsterdam. It quickly becomes clear that you're not just getting pizza at nNea.
If you, like me, normally leave the crusts behind, I can tell you that there is a good chance that you will also eat the ones at nNea.

First of all: thank you for being here to close out 2025 <3.
2025, you were everything I hoped you would be and more. So many new memories.
I don't yet know what 2026 will bring, but last year was one for the books. Highlights included trips to China, Mexico City, Egypt, and exploring the English countryside.
Entrepreneurs probably recognize that 2025 was not an easy year.
When I started Your Little Black Book, I had one dream: not to work to stay somewhere for free in exchange for content and the pressure of a "picture perfect" experience. But to use my revenue models to book and experience those special places myself, as a guest instead of an influencer, and to give you honest tips.
After almost 15 years of entrepreneurship, I'm so happy with the balance between editorial and commercial work and that I can also say no to things that don't feel right.
At the same time, it's still special that destinations, airlines, and hotels hire me to create a customized Little Black Book for them. I have complete freedom with these campaigns, and I believe in the value of these content-based tips that truly suit your taste. And they come from me personally, not from a machine.

This will always be my dream job, the one I created almost 15 years ago. I still do as much as possible myself. That's energizing—from both successes and failures.

This is the coolest new hotel for a night away! Meet @viaantwerp, Antwerp's newest boutique hotel on the border of Zurenborg and Borgerhout (yep, voted the 2nd coolest neighborhood in the world by Time Out).
I recently stayed at this gem, and it truly has it all: a lively bar with a cozy atmosphere, walls adorned with creative art, beautiful, bright rooms, and it's within walking distance of great hotspots. And I haven't even mentioned @mea.antwerp! The delightful restaurant, helmed by a chef who previously worked at The Palomar in London. If you know, you know!

Pizzas made from dough that rises for up to 38 hours
At nNea, you'll find Neapolitan pizzas, but made according to the signature recipes of a new generation of pizza chefs. Chef and co-owner Vincenzo Onnembo's pizzas are anything but fast food. When he asks me how they taste during dinner and I ask him about the secret of the dough, he tells me he lets it rise for up to 38 hours. And I have to admit... you can taste it! I can't remember a pizza with such a unique dough flavor. Soft and fluffy, but not soggy, and with a perfectly raised edge. If, like me, you normally leave the crusts on, I can tell you there's a good chance you'll eat those at nNea too.

13 New Generation Pizzas You'll Want to Try
While waiting for our table, we sipped a glass of wine at the bar and shared the burrata as a starter. A great way to start the evening, as you have a direct view of the kitchen. There, pizza after pizza is topped with Italian craftsmanship and expertly placed in the handmade Fazzone pizza oven. The pizza oven is the only clue you're in an authentic pizzeria. The rest of the interior is modern and colorful.

Of course, I immediately ask the team for recommendations. Do we eat meat? YES, we do. In that case, we absolutely MUST try the Entroterra pizza. And dear people of team nNea, here's a request from the bottom of my heart: PLEASE never remove this pizza from the menu. Absolutely never. What unique flavors! This pizza is topped with: Borlotti bean velvet, provola di Agerola, guanciale, and Jerusalem artichoke chips. Incredibly delicious.

When you're dining with your bestie, you naturally know what you both like beforehand, so we're splitting the two. We want to try everything, of course! For our second pizza, we order the vegetarian Van Gogh pizza, recommended by the owner. Another solid 10+ in my opinion. So much flavor. And once again, something you won't find anywhere else, or even on the menu. The Van Gogh comes with toppings: Fior di latte di Agerola, oven-roasted potatoes, cavolo nero, and blue di bufala fondue.

| TIP: nNea Amsterdam has 2 vegan pizzas and 5 vegetarian pizzas on the menu.
The pizzas on the current menu cost between €8 and €18. You can view the map here. Don't plan your dinner date to eat at nNea on Mondays, as they're closed then.
