Real New Yorkers go out on Thursday nights. And since I've been out this past week, When I lived in NY I also incorporated this tradition :-). An evening of dancing in the Meatpacking District! First, let's go to the High Line Park en Chelsea MarketMy favorite spots in the Meatpacking area and perfect for takeout dinner!
My first stop at Chelsea Market It's the Anthropologie store. I love this concept store. I love wearing hats in winter and fall. This cute one with feathers is going on my wishlist!
A regular occurrence when I go to Chelsea Market Get sushi takeout at Lobster Place. The High Line is a great place to eat your takeout!
I walk through the side entrance Chelsea Market I'm off to grab a soy iced latte at my favorite coffee shop in the Meatpacking District. Blue Bottle Coffee has several delicious roasts :-). I'll quickly pop into Artists and Fleas in Chelsea Market and then head to the High Line to relax for a bit.
From it High Line Park you have a great view over the Meatpacking District!
In High Line Park You can relax on one of the loungers and enjoy the view. I just manage to find an empty one and relax for a bit and blog a bit on my iPad. I sooo LOVE my New York life!
Tonight I'm wearing a long black dress with a statement necklace. Simple, yet classy.
Affordable, healthy, and refreshingly warm. My sushi dinner from Lobster Place in Chelsea Market.
This trip was my first time in the dark on the High Line Park I've been there, and it's highly recommended. The Meatpacking District looks even cooler with all the lights!
I meet S. and B. at the beer garden of the Standard Hotel. A cozy open-air bar that's perfect for early evening drinks.
And what do you drink in a beer garden? Exactly… oversized beers!
Tonight we're going to Le bain The rooftop bar of the Standard Hotel. I've always wondered why the club is called Le Bain…
Well... because there's a pool at the club! And people actually go in the hot tub. LOL.
After a few Whiskey sours we go to the next club. The rooftop bar of The jane! Unfortunately, there's a private party, so we're going dancing in the ballroom.
B. and I dance until the early hours to ballroom classics from Madonna to popular '90s house. Groove is in the heaaaaaaaaaaaaart!
