7 x new breakfast and lunch hotspots in Amsterdam to test with your friends

28 October 2017

these are new breakfast and lunch hotspots that you want to try

Up for a nice breakfast on a terrace in the winter sun? Or craving a good and healthy lunch in your work break? The last few months some new spots opened their doors and are now ready for tasting. We made a nice list with new breakfast and lunch hotspots in Amsterdam that have opened their doors these past few months. Where have you been already?

Ps: These are the new restaurants that opened in September. Nice for date night ;-)

Tip: we’ve brought a new list to life because a lot of the time we’re one of the first to find out about new spots, but not a lot of information is known: ‘Coming Soon‘. In this list you’ll find the new spots that you can go to soon. We will of course keep you updated about their opening dates.

7 x NEW BREAKFAST AND LUNCH HOTSPOTS TO EAT GOOD FOOD

The Maker Cafe: The Maker Cafe is the spot in De Hallen to open your laptop, enjoy a delicious drink and a nice pastry. A place where you feel right at home and come back with love the next day. The insider tip we received: order the oat milk cappuccino together with a piece of sticky toffee and banana cake at The Maker Cafe ;-)

Corner BakeryCorner Bakery, the place to be for all your sweet cravings opened a new location in Slotervaart. Expect the same sweet interior with sweet snacks and sweet drinks as the location in Old South. Plus the delicious cakes of Life of Pie. Yum!

Breakfast Club ZuidasThe Breakfast Club arrived at the Zuidas. Oh yeah! It’s the fourth location of The Breakfast Club. The Breakfast Club Amsterdam South is open from 8 AM for a cup of coffee, a healthy smoothie and of course for the famous pancakes as well, till 6 PM. Perfect start of your work day ;-)

Sir Hummus KitchenYES our favourite hummus spot has opened a second location: Sir Hummus Kitchen. At this location you can mainly score pitas. Although the menu is not fully filled yet, we can tell you one of the pitas: the traditional falafel pita, but then next level with onion, herbs and a good sauce. Soon we can expect about three to four different pitas on the menu.

Hungry DaneCurious about the best fast food of Denmark? Then grab your bike and race to the Foodhallen to try the sandwiches of Hungry Dane. You can find the brand new stand in the big food paradise in West. At Hungry Dane you get a toasted brioche with their signature chicken, barbecue pork or classic beef. YUM!

Ferilli’s CaffèFerilli’s Caffè has opened a second location in Old South. At Ferilli’s Caffè it seems like you’re in the beautiful Italy. In the morning you’ll wake up with a good cup of coffee and the newspaper, in the afternoon you can go for a salad or sandwich and a glass of wine and in the evening you order a Martini and a fresh pasta or pizza.

Hummus Bistro d&a OostGreat news! Bistro d&a has opened a second location in Amsterdam East. Expect of course an open kitchen, something we like ’cause what’s nicer than seeing your hummus freshly made? And expect the the same cozy vintage-vibe that they have at the Westerstraat.

Have fun at these breakfast and lunch hotspots!
