6 x new breakfast and lunch hotspots in Amsterdam to test right now

29 August 2017

THESE ARE NEW BREAKFAST AND LUNCH HOTSPOTS THAT YOU WANT TO TRY

Up for a nice breakfast on a terrace in the sun? Or craving a good and healthy lunch in your work break? The last few months some new spots opened their doors and are now ready for tasting. We made a nice list with new breakfast and lunch hotspots in Amsterdam that have opened their doors these past few months. Where have you been already?

Ps: These are the new restaurants that opened in August. Nice for date night ;-)

Tip: we’ve brought a new list to life because a lot of the time we’re one of the first to find out about new spots, but not a lot of information is known: ‘Coming Soon‘. In this list you’ll find the new spots that you can go to soon. We will of course keep you updated about their opening dates.

6 x NEW BREAKFAST AND LUNCH HOTSPOTS TO EAT GOOD FOOD

Pluk: YES, YES, YES! Pluk opened their second location in the Nine Streets and I can already hear you think, they already have a location there don’t they? Yes they do! Ever since Pluk opened its doors in the Reestraat we’ve been a fan of this hotspot for take away fresh (detox) juices, a healthy breakfast or a tasty lunch and to buy the best presents and musthaves. And now they have a second location at the Berenstraat.

Mr. Crab: We can eat seafood all day, so also for lunch! Take the bouillabaisse soup or order some mussels. Ps: the location is perfect. You can find Mr. Crab in the city centre, close to the Dam!

Staring at Jacob x KU West: Staring at Jacob may have a new look & feel, their delicious lunches and brunches are still our favourite. Nice: Staring at Jacob and Ku West do cross their pads sometimes. During the day you can for example order a Japanese pancake and salads with a Japanese touch.

Stewart & Sally: Craving a good salad or stew? Come to Stewart & Sally’s new permanent location in Amsterdam North. Perfect for lunch to go back to the office full of energy.

Vattenramen: Ramen for lunch? Hell yeah! The location on the Kerkstraat of Vattenramen Amsterdam is already open and the second location on the Zeedijk will open its doors soon. Not really a fan of ramen? Then you can also go for the amazing gyozas and other Japanese side dishes.

Picknick delivered: Ok yes, this list doesn’t belong in this list, but because we sometimes don’t feel like eating inside with nice weather like this, a picnic in the park is perfect. That’s why we’ve put our favorite spots that deliver a picnic in the park for you and your friends. Enjoy the sunshine!
