NENI Amsterdam: Eastern-Mediterranean hotspot in a former car dealership

1 March 2019

this is why we love neni amsterdam:

  • If you have ever been to Tel Aviv and liked the food this place is a must visit.
  • Neni also had branches in Germany, Vienna and Tel Aviv.
  • Haya Molcho is the mother Chef and started the restaurant as a family run business.
  • The Deli on the ground floor of Neni Amsterdam is open from breakfast and also is great for lunch.
  • Neni Amsterdam is perfect is you’re planning a group dinner. All dishes are made for sharing and the restaurant is spacious but feels cosy.
  • The restaurant is also in a good location if you plan to come by car.
  • Dishes we tried and loved are for starters: hummus (a must order!), charcoal roasted eggplant, roasted cauliflower and fish crudo.
  • For the mains we shared and loved: chicken shawarma and the miso harissa octocpus.
  • Above the restaurant you find cocktailbar Lemonman (named after the to the nick name of father of the founder of the former car dealership Citroën that was in the same building for years).
  • Make a reservation ahead, because when we were there it was fully booked!
