In this group exhibition, Foam fabric The work of 15 emerging photographers from around the world, selected from thousands of submissions. Around the main entrance of the Stedelijk Museum With the Post/No/Bills series, you continually discover new forms of graphic design. In this edition, artist Kexin Hao transforms the space into a kind of body, in which she draws a link between politics and bodily systems. With large, handmade illustrations inspired by anatomical drawings, she shows how power and structures work, and how they influence our thinking and perception. A short but interesting stop during your museum visit that makes you look at things just a little differently.

At Fabrique des Lumieres During the summer special, you literally step into the work of Gustav Klimt. During Klimt, Gold and Colorful, his iconic paintings are brought to life with enormous projections, music, and the impressive architecture of the space. It feels as if you are standing in the middle of his golden universe, with famous works moving around you.

In the Rijksmuseum Dive into the raw and energetic work of photographer Ed van der Elsken. From Amsterdam rascals to street scenes in Cuba and Japan: everywhere he captured the same unfiltered moments. His photos feel spontaneous, direct, and sometimes a bit rebellious, but precisely because of that, so recognizable. You look into another time, while simultaneously seeing how little has actually changed.

When Allard Pierson It is all about change, play, and reinventing yourself. In The Art of Transformation, you discover how theatre makers create and distort identities with costumes, masks, and sets. From cross-dressing to the story of revue star Louisette and the unique Slingelandt Theatre: past and present flow effortlessly into one another here. With work by photographer Diana Blok, among others, and other makers, you get a glimpse behind the scenes of the theatre.

Summer is perhaps the most beautiful time to visit the Hortus Botanicus. During the Hortus Summer Evenings, the garden stays open longer every Sunday in July and August, allowing you to enjoy all the blooming greenery in the evening as well. The special Summer Tours are an extra treat, where a guide takes you past the most beautiful spots in the Hortus. Along the way, you will learn all about special plants, monumental greenhouses, and hidden gems you might otherwise walk right past. Afterwards, you can relax on the terrace with a drink and live music. Please note: you must reserve a separate ticket for the Summer Tours in addition to your Hortus entrance ticket.
