Morris&Bella Amsterdam: for a flipped menu with many vegetables!

8 May 2017

Morris&bella amsterdam for vega(ns), fish- and meatlovers

Wether you eat vegan, vegetarian or love fish and meat, Morris&Bella Amsterdam will make sure everyone can enjoy their good food and wine. Honestly, going out for dinner with a vegan can be hard sometimes. There aren’t many spots where you can go and please everyone with their special diets, and that’s why Morris&Bella thought it was time for a restaurant where no one has to do any concessions. Perfect, we love it!

Morris&Bella turn around the traditional menu.  Instead of supplements like veggies and potatoes, veggies are actually the basis of your meal. You order meat, fish en cheese as an ‘extra’. This way, not only everyone can eat what he or she likes, it also gets more appealing and easier to eat less meat and fish. Winning!

Beautiful plates, fine dining, good wines and a lot of seasonal vegetables, Dutch meat and fish, and also as bio and local as possible. How it works? The menu is composed of 6 courses. You can order three to six courses, and add meat or fish to everyone course you order. Fun! Tip: Order a beer brewed by woman or one of the vegan wines!

everything from secondhand stores at morris&bella amsterdam

Morris&Bella is a small and cozy place. The name Morris&Bella is also the couple name (may we call it that?) of the owners Maurice and Annebel and it sounds like music in the ears! After gaining the necessary catering experience at restaurants like the North Sea Jazzclub, Restaurant de Luwte en Van Kerkwijk (where the two met), it was to to start their own place; Morris&Bella. The interior is vintage and mostly comes from secondhand stores, cozy but not with too much fuss.

Note: Morris&Bella is closed on Mondays en Tuesdays.
