MOOK Pancakes Amsterdam, your favorite breakfast and lunch spot in Amsterdam West where you'd love to grab pancakes with way too much chocolate sauce, peanut butter, and maple syrup with your best friend on the weekend, has opened a second location in the city center. When we heard this great news, we couldn't resist interviewing the men behind MOOK Pancakes Amsterdam: Sten van den Bedem (32) and Sammy Salimian (31). MOOK Pancakes Amsterdam is now open in the heart of Amsterdam on Jodenbreestraat, in the building formerly occupied by Woo Bros. The urban style we know from the pancake spot at the location on the Clercq Street You'll definitely recognize the new location. The urban jungle vibe is still present here, with laid-back hip-hop playing, a huge stack of fluffy American pancakes, and a freshly squeezed slow-juice drink (or a skinny gin and tonic ;-)) to stay healthy.
There are a few new dishes on the menu. At the new MOOK Pancakes Amsterdam location, you can order a vegetarian pancake: The Paid In Full, made with baba ganoush, artichokes, African pepper mix, and olive oil. We'll definitely be trying it soon! And the new menu also features a ladies' pancake: The Coco Chanel. And if you're with someone who isn't particularly fond of pancakes (almost impossible), they can now choose from two different main course salads at both locations.
