moco Museum with art work of van Warhol and Banksy!
Yay, Amsterdam has a brand new museum and it’s a one of kind! From now on, you’ll find the Moco museum or Modern Contemporary Museum at Museumplein. Which makes it the new yet old kid on the block. Because besides the wonderful location also the venue, of 1904, is breath taking! And there’s a lot of space, so every piece of art gets its well deserved venue. We’re so happy that Lionel en Kim Logchies are making modern & contemporary art available for the general public.
One thing is for sure, you’ll find us at Moco one of these days because the opening is celebrated with a special exhibition. A combination of the one and only pop-art artist mister Andy Warhol and the world’s number one graffiti artist Banksy. Isn’t that the perfect win-win? We may even start dreaming about expos of Keith Haring, Salvador Dali & Picasso one day, yay! :-)
And a special tip for every art-lover: the Moco museum is open till 21:00 hrs on Friday night! So start your weekend in the most cultural way and visit their cool art exhibitions. Of course, afterwards you’re free to usher the weekend and hop into a bar ;-)
