Yay, Amsterdam has a new museum, and what a museum it is! From now on, you'll find the Moco Museum, also known as Modern Contemporary MuseumAnd with this, we have a new yet old kid on the block. Besides the beautiful location, the building, dating from 1904, is also breathtaking! And with plenty of space, every artwork deserves its well-deserved exhibition. We are thrilled that Lionel and Kim Logchies are making modern and contemporary art accessible to the general public. Moco Museum, here we come!
You'll definitely see us at Moco in the coming days, as the opening is being celebrated with a special exhibition. A combination of the one and only pop artist Andy Warhol and the world-famous graffiti artist Banksy! A real win-win. But don't worry, this exhibition is on view until September. And if the Moco museum kicks off with this, we can only dream of exhibitions featuring Keith Haring, Salvador Dalí, and Picasso—yay! :-)
And a special tip for every art lover: the museum is open until 9 PM on Friday evenings! That means you can kick off your weekend with a cultural experience at this cool museum. And yes, afterward, you're free to ring in the weekend with a nice drink!
