"We're Argentinians, and as authentic Argentinians, we love empanadas," say the owners of Minita Amsterdam. The endless variety of fillings, experimenting with unique flavors and pairing drinks, and a love of good food inspired them to open Minita. For them, empanadas represent the love their grandmothers and mothers poured into their preparation, and they're passionately passing that tradition on to the Dutch.

The interior of this small shop is cozy and inviting, with pink walls and large windows. This makes Minita the perfect place to grab a quick empanada or pick up your lunch or snack.

Menu and dishes at Minita

The menu features a variety of handmade and homemade empanadas. The ingredients are high-quality, and artificial coloring is strictly prohibited – everything you eat and taste at Minita is natural.

The menu features a variety of flavors – from classic to spicy and everything in between. A firm favorite is the chicken masala with its delicious curry flavor, but the spinach empanada with mozzarella and Gouda cheese is also a hit.

There's also something for those with a sweet tooth: besides empanadas, Minita serves coffee with a sweet treat from Argentina: alfajor. Simply put, it's two cookies with dulce de leche in between. And believe us: they're dangerously delicious.
