Mercado Central Valencia: food heaven

9 June 2014

Best food market in Valencia is the Mercado Central

I LOVE the mercado’s in Spain. In Valencia the largest mercado is the Mercado Central. It’s located in the old city center and definitely worth a visit. This is where the locals go for their fresh produce.

When you go to Mercado Central it’s fun to go to Central Bar for bites and drinks. This bar is owned by Ricard Camarena who also has the hottest restaurant in Valencia called Canalla Bistro. Central Bar in Valencia is perfect for a drink while walking around in the old city center. Try some of the yummy raciones!

What is the best Mercado you have ever been to?

I really like Mercado San Anton in Madrid too.
