Madam Amsterdam: where diners become clubbers

24 May 2016

at madam amsterdam you’ll dance among the stars!

Now A’dam Toren fi-nal-ly (finally!) has opened its doors, the offer may be somewhat overwhelming. And then we’re not just talking about the phenomenal view. But also about the range of restaurants, nightclubs and much more. That’s why I’ll highlight one for you, namely Madam Amsterdam! Because when I’m looking for a cosmopolitain ambiance New York-style, this is where you’ll ding me!

More hotspots in Amsterdam

Because whether you’re just standing at the bar or sitting at a table, at Madam you’ll automatically rise to new heights. Because Madam Amsterdam is the actual panorama bar and restaurant on the twentieth floor of the old Shell Tower. During the day you can go here for a drink and the stunning 360˚ degree view, but during the evening…Then Ma’dam transforms into the highest nightclub of Amsterdam. Because Madam has only one rule: when the sun sleeps, it’s time to dance in the dark! As soon as the sun goes lower, the music will go harder.

That’s why Ma’dam describes herself as a “haven for nocturnal delights”, and I believe her right away. Chef David Baxter, known from the Amstel Hotel and restaurant La Rive, will be in the kitchen. And he will ensure that you can enjoy a delicious extensive à la carte menu filled with traditional French and Mediterranean cuisine of two or three courses. How about a steak tartare, beetroot marinated smoked salmon and my all time favourite ceviche as appetizers? And as a main course, the choice between the chicken supreme, the ravioli and the risotto is difficult as well.

But it’s not just the food that brings the cosmopolitain vibe to the table. It’s the combination of good food, the amazing view, exquisite cocktails and fine DJ’s that’ll play there. Because that’s also something were Madam took care of. Her spinning wheels are available for established, local and emerging DJ’s. I love it!
