Turbo Amsterdam is a nod to the owners' favorite car: the Saab Turbo. Sadly, it's no longer produced, but Turbo is alive and well. This modern hangout—a sister restaurant to De Tros—serves original lunch dishes like Japanese egg buns, miso mushrooms, and Korean fried fish.

By far one of our favorite restaurants for a special lunch. Whether you're celebrating something or just want to treat yourself, Restaurant De Kas is unique in Amsterdam. Located in Park Frankendael, where an old greenhouse once stood, they operate largely independently using locally sourced ingredients. It's no wonder they've been awarded a Green Michelin Star.

Few places are as familiar as De Ysbreeker. You can go there all day, but lunch is an absolute favorite. Think of the Brisket Burger with red cabbage salad, risotto, or a delicious toasted sandwich. In the summer, you can sit on the lovely terrace overlooking the Amstel River – the perfect spot for a sunny afternoon.
