LOT61 Amsterdam Central Station is a reality. And after years of bad coffee at Amsterdam Central, that’s a welcome development. Coffee connoisseurs in Amsterdam know that a few places never disappoint. Among them are Toki, Rumbaba, Skina, and LOT61. LOT61 (a well known favorite for years on the Kinkerstraat) has opened a brand new spot near Amsterdam Central, which is more than good news for all coffee snobs and commuters.

Visit LOT61 Amsterdam Central Station

The new LOT61 Amsterdam Central Station isn’t literally inside the station; you have to take a short walk to get there. But it’s worth it because as part of the DoubleTree by Hilton on Oosterdok, LOT61 now serves high-quality coffee in the city centre. The spacious interior of the new establishment features their signature pink and green colours, with concrete pillars, brick details, and, of course, their brightly coloured coffee bags as decoration, curated by Studio Smörgasbord. Adam Craig, the founder of LOT61, says, “Our new location is designed for regular guests, travellers, Amsterdammers, and foodies looking for comfort. In addition to our trusted coffee favourites, there are new seasonal variations on the menu, made possible by the specially built cold brew installation.”

Menu LOT61 Amsterdam Central

Under the motto “Born in Sydney, Raised in Brooklyn, Roasted in Amsterdam,” LOT61 has been synonymous with excellent coffee for years. They are now B Corp certified, so you can enjoy your daily caffeine fix with peace of mind. Their accompanying pastries are also a hit—their banana bread is famous, and the croissants are always freshly baked—just like their coffee beans, which are roasted right here in Amsterdam.

In addition to serving great coffee, they also offer courses that teach you the ins and outs of the coffee trade. From latte art to becoming a true coffee connoisseur, at LOT61, you’ll pass with flying colours. They’re expected to continue their coffee education programs at the new location as well – there’s plenty of space, after all. Besides learning from coffee experts, you’ll find this place ideal for a day of remote work or reading books. And with coffee as good as LOT61’s, your day will fly by.
