Little Bonfire Amsterdam is well on its way to becoming an extension of your living room. Not because the interior is so relatable (we wish!), but because the atmosphere is incredibly cosy, the food tastes fantastic, and the terrace gets sun almost all day. A win-win, if you ask us.
Atmosphere and interior at Little Bonfire Amsterdam
The interior at Little Bonfire Amsterdam was designed by Lisa Boissevain from Investerior, also known for several other (gorgeous!) hospitality venues in Amsterdam, including Williams Farmhouse. But don’t think Bonfire is a copy – on the contrary. At Bonfire, you’ll feel like you’ve stepped into the living room of a chic art collector with a somewhat eclectic taste. Think of a warm colour palette, plenty of natural elements, and even more wall art.
Bonus: the long bar at the back of the venue is directly adjacent to the kitchen. If you sit there, the chefs will serve your dishes straight from the pass.

Menu and dishes at Little Bonfire
The Bonfire menu features many well-executed classics and equally great wines. Our favourites? There are too many to name, so we recommend sharing a few dishes at the table. Our dinner included a selection of snacks and bites: pan con tomate with anchovies (a surprisingly good combo!), stracciatella with courgette and pea, green salad, crispy aubergine, and seabass with vongole. After all that, we were too full for the Basque cheesecake, but according to our neighbours’ review on the terrace, it’s a must for your next visit.
And yes, that next visit is happening, because a lovely, laid-back evening on Little Bonfire’s terrace leaves you wanting more.
