Things are going well on Westerstraat and the adjacent Noordermarkt in Amsterdam. We just told you about the new spot. Yama RamenNow, Libertine Petit Café Amsterdam has also opened its doors. It used to be the home of the traditional Proust pub, and you won't recognize it anywhere! This new member of the Libertine Café Café en Libertine Cuisine Comptoir is once again French-oriented and an all-day spot. One of the men behind Libertine Petit Café is the well-known Casper Reinders, who is certainly not sitting still, as he recently opened Bumbu Kitchen with Chef Jaimie van Heije. We know him from restaurants like Moon. Do we all still get it? There's a lot happening in Amsterdam again!

As we mentioned, Libertine Petit Café underwent extensive renovations before it opened. The result is a funky bar-bistro. Very welcoming and with a relaxed atmosphere. We'll be trying the menu as soon as possible, as we're already big fans of the French toast at Libertine Comptoir de Cuisine, and Libertine Café Café is also one of our favorites. So you can imagine we're thrilled to welcome this new member of the family. We can't get enough of French cuisine! We'll be stopping by this all-day spot soon. See you there?
Happy travels!
WITH LOVE,
WIEKE
