22 X lovely terraces throughout the Netherlands for a Zo-Mi-Bo

Hello summer! And hello terrace season. There is nothing better than meeting up with friends outdoors this summer. That is why, together with Frisfrank brand Fïnley, I have compiled a list of great terraces throughout the Netherlands for a fun drink. Grabbing a spot on a terrace is one of my favorite things to do when the weather is nice. Enjoying people-watching, catching up with friends, and especially ordering lots of tasty snacks. Whatever your plans are for this summer at home, the terrace tips in this new list are guaranteed to be a great place to be when the sun comes out. Will you go for Fïnley Tonic, or would you prefer Bitter Lemon or Ginger Ale? I am curious to know what your favorite flavor is! Have you spotted a nice terrace on this list? Then don't forget to make a reservation via the website so that all RIVM guidelines can be followed. Have fun!

22 terraces in the Netherlands to meet your friends

Noble by Dennis: The building where Edel by Dennis is located, Het Sieraad, is a beautiful industrial building in West Amsterdam. When the weather is nice, you can relax on the lovely, large terrace right on the water. And did I mention the snacks are also excellent?

SOIA: Strand Oog in Al (better known as SOIA) is a summer hotspot that anyone looking for a great place to have a drink should know. It overlooks the water in Utrecht.

Snowy (The Hague): A definite favorite in The Hague, because you'll want to try everything on the extensive drinks menu (the nachos are definitely a must-try). Are you team "in the sun" or prefer "shade"? On Milú's terrace, you can sit comfortably in the shade under the awning, but there's always a sunny spot to be found.

By AMI (Rotterdam): Sitting on the terrace at By AMI, you almost feel like you're in Brooklyn, New York, with a view of the former industrial buildings. And did I mention they have some really delicious snacks?

The Boathouse KralingenI love these kinds of places just outside the bustling city center. The Boathouse is right on Kralingse Plas lake in Rotterdam. It's a lovely terrace for drinks with friends, surrounded by greenery and with a view of the water.

On Roose (Utrecht): Since last year, Op Roose has been a waterfront terrace in Utrecht that's become a fixture. It feels like a hidden gem on the edge of the Kanaleneiland neighborhood. From late afternoon onwards, the terrace is wonderfully sunny, and you can stay until sunset.

Water edge (Amsterdam): As an Amsterdammer, I can't deny that the terrace at Waterkant has been one of my summer favorites since it opened. At the foot of a parking garage reminiscent of the Guggenheim Museum in New York, this is a summer hotspot not to be missed. The drinks menu features Surinamese fusion snacks.

Stan & Co (Arnhem): Easily one of the finest terraces in Arnhem. It's within walking distance of the station and large enough that there's (almost) always a spot. Grab a snack platter and linger until the sun sets.

Doloris RooftopThis might just be Tilburg's most popular hotspot right now. Here you can enjoy a Fïnley at a great height! It's a great place to go for a drink around golden hour.

Bistro Jules (The Hague): The terrace at Bistro Jules feels like you've discovered a hidden spot in a French village. That's no coincidence, as the menu is French-inspired with a Swiss twist. This means a delicious drinks menu that also includes a mini cheese fondue!
Could. Emmakade 118A, The Hague – cafebistrojules.nl

mommy (Scheveningen): Fancy a drink with a view of the Ferris wheel on the Scheveningen pier? Then you have to go to all-day hotspot Moeke. With a lovely, spacious terrace and an extensive drinks menu, you're in good hands here. It's also a great spot for drinks after a walk on the beach.

Zeal (Amsterdam): The warehouse at the NDSM wharf where IJver is located is already an impressive building, but on the terrace with a view of the most beautiful street art works, you will really be amazed.

Window 33 (Amsterdam): Locals know you can easily avoid the crowds at Gerard Douplein in the bustling De Pijp neighborhood by walking a bit further to Venster33. A Fïnley hotspot to remember, because the drinks menu is also excellent. I always order the tatsu (Japanese chicken) with siracha mayonnaise.
