Come with me to get breakfast in Taipei 🥢 Straight from the airport to this little spot to taste soup dumplings and so much more! That's what I call a soft landing 😉
Just back from Catalonia and I thought: I'll share some tips right away. During our road trip, we stayed two nights in the Ebro Delta. An incredibly fun stop for families and foodies alike, where there is plenty to do. · A boat trip to the Musclarium is a must! Here you eat oysters and mussels straight from the farm, in the middle of the sea. · Admire the flamingos and black ibises that can be found here all year round. · Rice is grown in the Ebro Delta all year round. For paella, but Kensho also makes sake and miso from it! You can visit them during a tasting. · Cycling along the rice fields, canoeing on the Ebro River, and visiting various beaches. It was still a bit too cold now, but there is plenty to do. · The towns are very low-key and not that exciting, but you can find fantastic local food there. From the Michelin-awarded Les Moles* to local eateries like Vermuteria Bonmarisc and Lo Tinglado. We ate a lot of fish, but also anemone fritters (a first!). Now back to work, and I’m going to create an extensive travel guide of this road trip through Catalonia, but you’ll want to save these tips for a future adventure. ✖️✖️✖️ 🖊️ @anne_de_buck { In this post, I share tips for the Ebro Delta in Spain (Delta de l'Ebre). 19 X The best brown cafes in Amsterdam

Café De Wetering

De Wetering is a cozy bar with a pleasant, homey atmosphere and is the perfect place to meet friends for a beer. Warm up by the crackling fire with jazz playing in the background—it's wonderful! Weteringstraat 37, Amsterdam – Facebook page

The Loosje

Where better to enjoy an ice-cold beer than on the Nieuwmarkt with a view of the Waag? 't Loosje is always bustling, and the terraces are especially packed in the summer. Nieuwmarkt 32, Amsterdam – 'The Loosje

Café 't Gasthuys

Dark brown tables, red glass candles, and wainscoting from long before we were born: that's Café 't Gasthuys in a nutshell. Settle in for just a beer, order the daily special, or grab something from the fryer. In summer, the waterfront terrace with a view of passing boats is perfect. Grimburgwal 7, Amsterdam – Café 't Gasthuys

Elsa's Café

If we had a euro for every time Elsa's Café was recommended, we'd be filthy rich by now. The menu is delightfully old-school, with croquettes, beef sausage, and of course, a meatball sandwich. Middenweg 73, Amsterdam – Elsa's Café

Café Koosje

One of Amsterdam's most famous brown cafés is Koosje, just around the corner from Artis Zoo in the beautiful Plantage neighborhood. Plantage Middenlaan 37, Amsterdam – Cafe Koosje

A. van Wees distillery the Stork

If there's one pub with a rich history, it's A. van Wees. Dating back to 1782 (!), the distillery has elevated distilling to a true art. From traditional Dutch jenever to a wide variety of liqueurs, you name it, they have it at A. van Wees. It's also a great place to bring friends or family from abroad! Utrechtstraat 119, Amsterdam – A. van Wees
