HMMMM… taco’s from Las Iguanas Newcastle
Newcastle is really stuffed with hotspots! And Las Iguanas is one of them you should visit.
It’s a restaurant with a super cheerful interior we always visit when we are in town. As soon as I step inside this colourful restaurant I dream about destinations in Middle- and South America. A bit of Mexico and touch of Brazil. Love it!
The bar of Las Iguanas Newcastle is a real eye catcher. It’s nice to drink a cocktail before your dinner. Or just because it’s happy hour. Yes, that is a thing in Newcastle, happy hour.. O well, we just see the benefits of it. It means nothing more than two margaritas for the price of one. YES, please!
menu x Las Iguanas Newcastle
After my intro it will probably not surprise you that you can eat the best Latin American dishes at Las Iguanas Newcastle. When I visit this hotspot I love to start with some tapas at the bar, together with a yummy cocktail. The nachos are really tasty and also the calamaris (my guilty pleasure!) and quesadilla are worth trying!
After the starters it’s time to move to the table for the real meal! ;-) If you love Brazilian or Mexican food, Las Iguanas Newcastle is your place to be! The fajitas are amazing, especially the ones with chicken. Order a steak from the grill if you want to have real meat. You can watch the chef preparing your steak perfectly!
Tip: Visit the nice hotspots DAT Bar, The Botanist and Brew Dog if you are into a drink after your dinner at Las Iguanas Newcastle.
