Labstelle Vienna is a great restaurant near St. Stephen's Cathedral
Finding a nice and good restaurant in the tourist center is not always easy. Labstelle is a new restaurant hotspot in Vienna near St. Stephen's Cathedral in the 1st district. The interior is a lovely mix of design with lots of wooden details. At Labstelle, everything revolves around regional and organic food from Austria. A fantastic farm-to-table concept. The beautiful tableware from Jar completes the picture. As a starter, I had a delicious vegetarian dish with three pumpkin preparations. Absolutely delicious! In winter, I love to eat real winter food. For the main course, the ox cheek was a real treat! If you love cheese, the cheese board is the perfect ending. I always thought Austrian cuisine wasn't very refined, but Labstelle in Vienna is a hotspot with delicious food.
Tip: Labstelle is also great for just a drink! There's a cozy wine bar at the front of the restaurant.
