Krusta Amsterdam-Zuid: the new Italian hotspot at Europaplein

Under the guise of "not your ordinary pizza place," Krusta Amsterdam recently opened its doors. The name Krusta refers to the crispy crust that makes their pizzas so great, but this place offers more: dining in a cozy atmosphere, unique cocktails, and the most original dishes from Southern European cuisine.

Why you should visit Krusta Amsterdam

The crust Amsterdam is one of those places you didn't know you were missing, but after your first visit you can't live without. Anyone who has been to the Rivierenbuurt If you go out for dinner, you might see some familiar faces; the owners are the same entrepreneurs as those of the nearby Kaia.

The white brick oven is clearly visible from everywhere, allowing guests to witness the chefs' dexterity as they prepare the freshly baked pizzas. The interior is colorful and warm, and the designer furniture lends the space a high-end ambiance—almost like being transported abroad.

Krusta's special menu

So, Krusta Amsterdam's menu consists of pizzas, but that's not the only thing they excel at. The cacio e pepe pasta is excellent and briefly transports you to Italy. The bruschetta with eggplant cream is a fusion of Italian cuisine and the owner's Greek heritage; he personally ensures that the dishes are a blend of the best that Southern Europe has to offer. And if you're looking for something original, try the gorgonzola and pear pizza or the Beef Stifado pasta. When it comes to desserts, the chefs have really taken their guests by storm. The pistachio baklava is unlike anything else, and the same goes for the tiramisu. The fact that everything is made in-house (even the sourdough bread) makes it even more delicious. Add to that the unique cocktails (the menu is extensive), and you have an evening to remember.
